Get to Know Me as a Professional:
I have over 12 years' experience in sales and marketing, having worked for small businesses and corporate world. I stepped down from my corporate work in 2018 when I started my family, and have never looked back. I have kept a foot in the door through freelance work and as an email marketing specialist for The Mom Empire. Within months, I was promoted to the Chief of Staff, training other marketing specialists on best practices and techniques for high open and click rates.
My love for blogging, social media and email marketing grew as I wrote copy for The Mom Empire and many of their clients, and it was after I discovered the lifestyle and freedoms of a freelancer that I decided to focus my efforts on the world of copywriting. So here I am!

I am a fan of all things "mom". As a mother of 2 (with one on the way, woohoo!), I have become very familiar with trends and topics in motherhood, parenting, pregnancy, health, and life with children! Although I have a passion for marketing, I have a strong desire to use my background in sales to write about and promote topics in beauty products, lifestyle, health, and parenting.
I have a blog called Femiology that I created to share my thoughts and advice on topics such as food, fashion, fitness, family, and fun crafts. Over the past few years, blog views have risen to over 3 million through SEO, email newsletters, and social media promotion. I consider Femiology my firstborn, having built it from scratch and raised it to the beautiful site that it is today.
I don't take life too seriously. I like to make people laugh. I make funny faces and do silly things for the entertainment of my children. I'm a homebody and a social butterfly, which are almost opposites - so I have to find creative ways to connect with others without leaving home. I love dresses, nail polish and mascara. I'm super frugal when it comes to buying clothes, and excessive when it comes to buying groceries because I love to bake and try new recipes. I love hosting parties, although the stress and pressure of hosting drives me crazy. When it comes to sweets, I can't ever deny a triple scoop of cookie dough ice cream in a waffle cone!
